The Raven Hag

"Legend tells of a beautiful woman who was born with an emptiness inside her. No one could precisely tell what it was, but people who got close to her were struck by a terrible sadness and sense of longing. Despite her beauty no one dared approach her, or talk to her. Gradually the villagers started to shun her. The sadness of this beautiful girl continued to well up in solitude, she started to grow resentful and bitter, unable to understand her grief. One day she was approached by an old wretched woman, this woman was different though, this woman did not reel away or got saddened in her presence she just approached and placed her hand in her chest, stating criptically "The heart that hungers may yet be sated, if only it can learn what it craves". What did a heart with such emptiness crave? no one can be sure, but in the following days, villagers started to dissapear and all that could be heard in the night was a flock of ravens of impossible size. The raven hag heart still thirsts"
